  • Are Mercedes-Benz expensive to maintain?

When you compare the cost to maintain a Mercedes-Benz to the cost to maintain other vehicles, you will likely be shocked. This is because maintaining a Mercedes-Benz doesn’t have to be done as often as some other vehicles. Instead, you only need to bring your vehicle in once every 10,000 miles or once per year, whichever comes first. In some cases, more time or mileage can elapse between service appointments.

Mercedes-Benz of Music City wants to make maintaining your Mercedes-Benz as easy as possible. We offer a prepaid option that enables you to pay for your vehicle’s maintenance when you purchase the vehicle. This means that you can simply make an appointment to bring your vehicle in when it is time to handle the regular maintenance on it.

  • What is the difference between Service A* and service B* on a Mercedes-Benz?

You have two service options for your Mercedes-Benz – SERVICE A* and SERVICE B*. The main difference between the two is that service B has eight points that are covered, while service A has six points that are covered. The frequency of visits also varies between these service plans.

Service A requires that you come in for a maintenance appointment around the first anniversary of your purchase or at 10,000 miles. When you come in, our certified technicians will do the following:

    • Reset the maintenance counter
    • Inspect the braking system components
    • Change the oil filter
    • Replace the synthetic oil
    • Check and correct tire pressure
    • Check and correct the vehicle’s fluids

Service B occurs on the anniversary of your purchase or at 20,000 miles, whichever is the earliest. All of the six points mentioned in service A are completed. Two more that are added are:

    • Replace the cabin air filter
    • Exchange the brake fluid

Once the initial service is done on the Mercedes-Benz, the service schedule demands that you have the vehicle serviced every two years or 20,000 miles. This holds true for both service options that are available.

  • How much is an oil change at a Mercedes-Benz Nashville Service Center near me?

When you come into Mercedes-Benz of Music City for your regular maintenance, the oil change is included in that service. Typically, the vehicle’s Flexible Service System will let you know when it is time.

Mercedes-Benz of Music City is a new dealership. The state-of-the-art facility includes 24 bays so that our Mercedes-Benz owners can get taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Since you are dealing directly with the dealership, you have the peace of mind in knowing that the maintenance on your vehicle will be done according to the Mercedes-Benz manufacturer’s specifications.

There Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV received the IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus rating for the 2017 model with frontal crash prevention. Some Mercedes-Benz SUVs have the 4matic® feature, which automatically sends torque to the wheels that need it when conditions turn slippery. Steering Pilot and optional Distance Pilot DISTRONIC® help to guide you as you drive, and Active Brake Assist helps to prevent crashes.

*Price advertised for Service A/Service B includes all factory-required components. Please refer to your maintenance booklet for the complete list of factory-required services and details on the specific intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.
